The Ensuring Likeness, Voice, and Image Security (ELVIS) Act adds an individual’s voice to Tennessee’s personal-rights property interest, and makes it actionable to distribute a tool whose primary purpose is producing an identifiable person’s voice or likeness without authorisation. Enacted as Public Chapter 588 (HB 2091 / SB 2096); in effect since July 1, 2024.
